ARKANSAS + TEXAS. Thank you for an absolute heater of a weekend. Literally and figuratively speaking. We kicked things off with Shay’s first hometown headlining show in almost 10 years, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The amphitheater was at capacity before the sun went down and we knew we were in for a big one. The temperature was extreme and so was the energy from the crowd all the way from start to finish. Next, we headed down to Dallas and so did the humidity. We’ve spent more time in Texas this year than we have in our entire career and we are quite happy about that. We might as well take up residence at this point. Just like our show down the road in Fort Worth earlier this year, the crowd at Dos Equis Pavilion was top-notch. It’s no secret that Country Music and Texas go together like Dan + Shay and…Christmas? The last stop on our end-of-August blitz was Houston, and we’re glad we made the trip. For some crazy reason, we haven’t played in Houston in a LONG time, but last night certainly made up for it. We had ourselves a DAY cold plunging, watching college football, and frolicking around The Woodlands like the tourists that we are. It was almost as if the crowd went out of their way to sing the songs extra loudly so that we wouldn’t forget about Houston on the next tour, and they accomplished that mission with flying colors. We will be back, and possibly quite soon. In case you can’t tell by the smiles on our faces in all the recent posts, we’re having the time of our lives out here on the road. Can’t wait to hit the west coast the next few weeks, we’re gonna send this thing off on the highest of high notes. Arizona + California, we’re coming for you.

TOUR JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER. We started the weekend by crossing the border into Canada for a sold out show in Toronto and couldn’t have asked for a better night. This one broke the personal attendance record we set for ourselves last weekend in Indiana and reminded us why we shouldn’t wait 5+ years to come back to Canada again. PS - should we do a full Canadian tour? Thinking maybe that would be a good idea. Next stop was Syracuse, NY at one of the most beautiful venues in America. Even though the locals advise not to swim in the lake, it still makes for a perfect concert backdrop on a 70-degree summer night. If it took us a little longer to run up to the lawn, it’s because we tried our hand at pickleball during the day. Might be sore until Christmas. Last but CERTAINLY not least was Gilford, NH - the venue of all venues. We’ve been looking forward to this show since the day we booked the tour, and it did not disappoint. We spent the afternoon out on the lake, and did ALL the outdoor activities one could possibly imagine. Summer camp vibes. The show was absolutely electric, maybe the rowdiest crowd yet, and it propelled us into a late night hang with our entire touring crew. When in Gilford, you can’t not, even though it made for a rough 6 AM flight back to Nashville this morning. We’re grateful for everyone buying tickets to these shows, we’re having the time of our lives. Can’t wait to do it all again in Detroit, Pittsburgh (HOMETOWN SHOW), and Bristow this weekend. Much love, and keep streaming Bigger Houses. 🏡

We grew up spending our summers in the lawn at these outdoor amphitheaters, and ever since we started our band, it has been a long shot dream to headline them. Because of you, that dream has become a reality. The Heartbreak On The Map Summer Tour kicked off this weekend in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and St. Louis, and our minds were absolutely blown (as you could probably tell from watching our reactions on stage). These were some of the biggest and most engaged crowds we have ever played for, and we could not be more grateful. Too many highlights to mention, but we kicked things off with a Joy-Beat-Cancer party (2 major surgeries - 5 rounds of chemo - now cancer free - Thank God), spent the days outside enjoying the too-good weather, and soaked in every second of the first 3 shows. This is going to be the best summer of our lives and we’re so excited for y’all to be a part of it. Thank you to everyone who showed up and gave us everything, drop a comment and let us know you were there. Toronto, Syracuse, and Gilford, you’re up next. PS - we have so much great content from this weekend - so apologies in advance if we flood your feed. Much love, and happy Sunday.

We promised ourselves if we ever got to stand on that stage again, we wouldn’t let a single second of it pass us by. Last night, the Academy of Country Music gave us that opportunity with the Duo of the Year award and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you to our country music family for continuing to show us so much love and support, it means more than we could ever put into words. This chapter of our career truly feels like a new beginning and we’re so excited for what’s to come. See y’all on the road this summer, the boys are back. ❤️

KNOXVILLE, TN. ROCKY TOP. One of the greatest college towns in America. It was truly an honor to headline the iconic arena right in the heart of the Tennessee campus for the first time. When they told us our show was in the middle of spring break, we were worried no one would show up, but boy were we wrong. Y’all showed UP, and showed up in a BIG way. The energy in the room felt like it could rival a Volunteers’ home game in the heat of March Madness, and we were locked in for every second of it. When it came time to close out the show with Tequila, we did whatever we could to delay leaving the stage. There was nostalgia in the air, taking us back to memories of headlining the Cotton Eyed Joe, and we promised ourselves and everyone in the room that we wouldn’t wait so long to come back to Knoxville again. Heck, it’s just down the road. Another weekend of Heartbreak On The Map Tour shows in the books, and another one coming right up. Savannah, Nashville, and Chicago, you’re next. 🍀

COLUMBUS, OH: SOLD OUT. The loudest crowd yet. Maybe it was the O-H-I-O that got your voices warmed up, but wow, this one was next level. Being at the Nationwide Arena brought back some bittersweet memories; it was the last show we played before the world shut down in 2020. But just like that night, we walked off stage feeling the highest of highs and that’s all thanks to the devoted and loyal Ohio country music fans who have been riding with us since the beginning. We still remember y’all waiting outside Newport Music Hall in the freezing cold all day to get front row for our Where It All Began Tour in 2014, and seeing so many of the same faces at our shows today is just the coolest thing we could ever ask for. PS - Big shout out to our friend, the sun, for showing up around dinner time. Got us FIRED UP and in our feels for a big Friday night. We’ll be back to Ohio a few times this summer and can’t wait to do it all over again. 🖤

GRAND RAPIDS, MI: SOLD OUT. Since the beginning of our career, Michigan has ALWAYS showed up for us. From selling out The Intersection (remember when we crowd surfed?), to another sold out show at Van Andel arena, y’all have given us tour highlights we’ll never forget. Even though the weather was cold + rainy during the day, we still made sure to get out and explore one of our favorite cities. Cool coffee shops, restaurants, music venues; it reminds me a whole lot of my hometown, Pittsburgh. When it came time to hit the stage, we knew the energy was going to be electric. Kicking it off with the biggest Save Me The Trouble sing-along yet, we took a journey through each of our albums that left us even more fired up to come back to Michigan this summer. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for an amazing night. We sure felt the love. 🖤
