Yes Theory

Bummed that YouTube turned Limited Ads on our recent video. In some ways we understand, but in other ways it makes making a video like that totally unsustainable 😔 To spend months working on a sensitive video that is clearly having such a positive impact based on the comments and for it to essentially lose money is a bit demoralizing. If you feel compelled and have the ability to help and support us, Seek Discomfort would be the way.. 🙏😔 Worldwide Website: www.seekdiscomfort.com/ EU website: eu.seekdiscomfort.com/en-fr

No pressure at all though, we know life is tough for everyone right now and don’t do these stories for this reason. We just want to be able to keep doing them. Either way, comments and viewership means a lot to see that people at least care about stories like these. We’ll have to see how sustainable it would be to go after these topics in the future. For now, still proud for it to be out there 🙏🫶

I loved this mini documentary Thomas and team! I learned so much about misconceptions and I hope one day to visit the country. Gave me a different perspective from what we’ve been taught here in the US. Praying for all those people in Iraq

I subscribe, because of that video. Before it, I thought through media that all people from these regions were either bad or too unwelcoming of others not from their respective nations and things that involved religion and politics. Let’s just say, I’m a dude and I could not stop crying and I wanted more, learn, more, and understand better. I am infinitely grateful for this. Don’t you ever give up on what you and your team have accomplished. One day YouTube, won’t be able to continue controlling the mindset of the masses. We the People will be able to see other people by ourselves just like I at least personally felt on my screen, but honestly I feel compelled to feel that emotion first hand in person. Anyway, Don’t let YouTube and no other similar corporations to set boundaries on your behalf. Keep up this amazing work. Just my opinion. Thank you🙏

If it weren't for this story I would have continued to think Baghdad was not a very safe place to visit, now it's on my bucket list of places to see! It's real shady of YT to do this kind of crap. I and I'm sure others really appreciate you guys for telling the stories you do. You guys have gotten me through some tough times. Much love from BC Canada

This video is amazing and important, exactly the reason it should be out there, dealing with topics the mainstream press aren't covering, for whatever reason (we know the reasons). Absolutely eye opening content, which you should be fairly paid to make.

Absolutely loved this video /movie. Completely destroyed my stereotypes of what we grew up thinking of Baghdad, a beautiful culture and lovely humans💪🏽

Quite a bummer as i thought the video was really interesting too! But i also see where youtube is coming from. Lots of sensitivity/regulation and fine balance between ensuring that advertisers are okay with the content they are showing up against vs allowing creators to monetize! 100% agree that, as audiences, we can, turn to other avenues to support you and your channel! Either way, subscribed, liked the video. Hope that bumps the channel up in some way to help you get more viewership in your subsequent content! Go Yes theory! UPDATE: Sent a superthanks via youtube to help with the limited ads. Hope this lil bit helps!

I watched the video. It is awesome! The Iragi people have been through hell, yet they are the friendliest, most generous, happy and optimistic people.

I appreciate the approach you guys take on the channel both on the content and its monetary return. People are never satisfied but I’m wishing you guys all the best to continue what for many of us is a weekly highlight and life changing for some.

I will never understand social media and YouTube, man out there is spreading awareness about what our people went through, instead of reaching more audiences, they’re trying to demolish it :) wow YouTube

I have a few opinions/suggestions: 1. I buy your merch - but let’s be real, I can’t be buying a new hoodie every new drop. But if there’s a funding page or something , I am certain they’d be many that wouldn’t mind just contributing cash as you guys do put out stunning stories 😄😄 2. Is this issue an opportunity for a genius to start a similar platform with total freedom of content? 3. To those fellow YouTube Newbies - making money on socials isn’t the best way, as you’d forever succumb to their algorithms and internal politics, so be wise with going full tim

Man these corporate companies behaviour is so pathetic. They don't take action where it's necessary!

I think you should be making this sort of work no matter what… I’m sure the audience will compensate you somehow, but it’s important to speak about topics that are taboo, or go to places that most won’t go to, we are here for these sorts of stories and adventures.
