I've practically memorized Dr. White's debates. Don't give in to any red herrings, just acknowledge what he's doing (trying to distract from the topic at hand) and move on, and don't let him try and act like he's the gatekeeper to the Greek language.

I just want to say thanks for what you do here, Alex. I was raised Protestant and was always taught that Catholics weren't really Christians. However, over the past 3 years I have done my own research on church history and was shocked to discover that many Catholic doctrines were taught by the church fathers and even some of the reformers. I've been slowly gravitating toward Catholicism and your videos along with a few other Catholic apologists have opened my eyes to some remarkable truths. I'm eager to see this debate and will be praying that the Holy Spirit inspires you with words of wisdom.

He (White) has accepted this because he lost miserably to Trent Horn and Jimmy Akin. He thinks your easier prey because your less experienced at public debates than he is. You are perfectly capable, have the truth on your side, and you are not easily shaken. Please study some of his past debates and see how he likes to throw an unexpect curve ball. A non-traditional argument he himself will engineer. You may need to be ready to take the time needed to check the context of such a passage, check the biblical reference that his passage may be referencing, and use you knowledge of fallacies and cognitive biases to either swat down or deflect those attempts to catch you off guard. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to seal the "3 for 3" against Mr. White. He pride was instrumental in becoming a calvinist and his errogance was instrumental in my becoming a Catholic. God speed! I can't wait.

Congrats again! You have a lot of experience with this topic. Me finding your channel this year is kind of serendipitous since the Eucharistic March is happening in my state this year. Right near my job I see people lining up to sign in to walk with the national Eucharist council and I see priests walking around and now I kind of know what’s happening lol.
