Sufi Cat is a symbol of spiritual harmony. The cat appeared at the Khwaja Baqi Biliiah Dargah, a revered Sufi shrine in Delhi.
Visitors and divine lovers keep noticing the cat's regular presence at the dargah, sitting calmly amidst the prayers and Sufi music.
The cat's peaceful coexistence with devotees of different faiths has made it a symbol of interfaith harmony, tolerance, and the spiritual unity that Sufism embodies.
Caretakers and regular shrine visitors report that the cat seems to sense the emotions of those around, often approaching those in distress or need.
Sufi Cat's story beautifully illustrates the universal language of divine love, peace, and compassion that transcends human boundaries.

Martyr of Divine Love in Delhi♥️
By Ghulam Rasool Dehlvi
“Those who are shot dead with the dagger of surrender and pleasure are reborn in the unseen.”

Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki RA of Mehrauli Sharif was the pioneer of the Chishti Sufi order in Delhi. He is also known as Qutub-ul-Aqtab and Malik-ul-Mashaa’ikh (head of the Sufi saints). Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki was the dearest disciple and spiritual successor of the great mystic, Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz Moinuddin Chishti of Ajmer. He is especially venerated as the greatest Khwaja (Sufi master) in Delhi, the capital of India which is respected and known among Sufis as “Bais Khwaja ki chaukhat” (the city of 22 most prominent Sufi masters). When a young Qutbuddin fell at the feet of Chishti, he embraced him affectionately, blessed him and raised him in a spiritual and humane environment. He often exhorted him: “Never turn your face from the right path of Sufism and Truth. Prove yourself to be a brave man in this Divine Mission.”
On January 27, 1948, Gandhiji held his last public address at the Mehrauli shrine of Khwaja Bakhtiyar Kaki. The late Khushwant Singh recounts it in his book, The Novel: “Gandhi bows to Kaki’s tomb. The Musalmans accompanying him request to utter al-Fateha. So the Mahatma raises his hand and recites: In the name of Allah the beneficent and the merciful.” Just as, in his early life, he sought refuge in discourses of Shrimad Rajchandra as his guide in moments of “spiritual crisis”, in the last moments, only three days before his martyrdom, Gandhiji turned to the tomb of Kaki.
He would often recite the Sufi poet Ahmad Jaan’s couplet:

“Those who are shot dead with the dagger of surrender and pleasure are reborn in the unseen.”

Ghulam Rasool Dehlvi

A LETTER TO THE BELOVED RASOOLﷺ

To The Beloved of Allah, the Seal of The Holy Line!

My heart, like a desert, thirsts for Your Murderous Eyes!
In this world of shadows, even the moon reacts when You come out of disguise!
Shohib lives between life and death!
I care not! Which one contains Your Replies!

O Master of Light! My Prophet! My Beloved Friend!
What distance is this, that We cannot mend?
The centuries stand like walls between us!
But YOUR LOVE! it floods through the ages unseen by men!

My happiness is lost! My tears find their way!
To be in Your Presence, to hear Your Every Say!
To walk The Path You Walked, To hold on to the Instrument You Play!

My heart aches with stories I’ve been told!
Of Your Kindness, Your Patience, more precious to me than gold!
Yet I have not seen You lately! O Jewel of the Sky!
My guts are cursing me in this separation!
The pupil of my eyes no longer show me brightness! No longer do they comply!

The poets speak of Your Immense Beauty! Your Luminous Light!
How Your Purchase turned the darkness of Your Bilal to heavenly white!
But all I can do is dream and implore,
To be near You! O God's Proof, forevermore!

How do I speak of this pain I feel?
The wound of separation, too deep to heal!
Yet in my chest, there grows a flame!
A love undying, a sacred claim!

How can I find You in this fleeting life?
Where distance and time cut deep like a knife!
The world offers nothing! no gold! no gem!
That can ease this ache, to be near You again!

O Beloved of Allah, I dream of that day!
When this veil will lift, and I’ll no longer stray!
When The Glowing Sight of Your Face will light up my soul!
And this fractured heart of Shohib, will once more be whole!

I know, O Master! you visit in dreams!
You comfort the broken, or so it seems!
But my nights remain empty, my pillow is cold!
And I search for your warmth in Salawaat! like a treasure of old!

I speak to the winds, the stars, the moon!
Hoping their whispers might carry a tune!
Of Your Praises sung by Angels above!
For They know You best, O Prophet of Love!

But here in the stillness, I remain confined!
Trapped by the limits of body and mind!
I walk through this life, though lost in its maze!
Seeking Your Invisible Shadow in the sun’s early rays!

They say You are closer than breath to the heart!
That Your Love and Your Benevolence will never depart!
Yet my soul trembles! My hands reach in vain!
For a Touch that might soothe this burning pain!

I wait for the day when I’ll stand in the divine court, right in Your sight!
My soul clothed like a criminal in the purest white!
And then, O Beloved! I’ll weep at Your feet!
My sins may drag me to hell! May Your Venerous Vision save me from defeat!

I plea for my final moment! I pray We unite!
I have done too much wrong, to ask You for my right!

So Finally! Hear my screams! In this letter I send!
From a dirty heart, that vows to Love You till the very end!
O Beloved! Please assist my shameful feet, towards Your Guided Way!
Asking to be By Your Side is too much!
I just want a chance to play!

Prophet Muhammad’s Noble Character and Muslims Today

By Varsha Sharma

Answering the question asked by one of his companions as to who is a true Muslim, the Prophet of Islam Muhammad pbuh once said: “A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand other people are safe” (Sahih al-Bukhari).

This Prophetic definition of a ‘true Muslim’ beautifully illustrates the virtue of good manners in Islam and characterises the persona of a good Muslim. In fact, the core essence of all Islamic precepts and practices lies in the purification of heart, mind and deeds with intent to build up a noble humane character. Therefore, the revelations of God to the Prophet Muhammad pbuh give paramount significance to the behavioural attitudes as mentioned in the holy Quran. The Prophet pbuh was on the highest rank of morality. He was endowed with the magnanimous manners, sublime traits and the noblest personality outshining all his peers and fellowmen in the Arabian Peninsula. Testifying to this fact, the Holy Quran says: “And indeed, you are of a great moral character (68:4). The Qur’an enjoins upon all Muslims to follow in the footprints of the Prophet pbuh. Let us take a glimpse of the most exalted aspects of an ideal Muslim personality as covered in the following prophetic traditions:

The Prophet pbuh said: “The best among you are those who have the best manners and character” (Sahih Bukhari)

He said: “The dearest and nearest among you to me on the Day of Resurrection will be one who is the best of you in manners; and the most abhorrent among you to me and the farthest of you from me will be the pompous, the garrulous and the arrogant people.'' (Tirmidhi)

He said: “Nothing will be heavier on the Day of Resurrection in the scale of a believer than good manners. God hates one who utters foul or coarse language. (Tirmidhi)

He said: “If one has good manners, he/she may attain the same level of merit as those who spend their nights in prayer” (Sahih Bukhari)

It goes beyond saying the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had not only spoken but epitomized all his sayings by his own noble behaviour. One of his companions Hazrat Anas (r.a) narrates: “I served the prophet for ten years. During that time, he never once said to me as much as ‘Oof’ if I did something wrong. He never asked me, if I had failed to do something, ‘why did you not do it?’ and he never ever said to me, if I had done something wrong, why did you do it?” (Sahih Bukhari)

A Muslim is not allowed even to utter a single word in vain, not to speak of idle gossip or backbiting. Because God is omnipresent who always watches him and records his actions and words, as He Himself says:

"Not a word does he utter but there is a watcher by him ready to record it" (The Quran: 50:18)

A Muslim ought to be mild-tempered, soft-hearted, humble, patient, loving and generous when he/she deals with others, be they Muslims or non-Muslims. Allah, the Almighty certainly doesn't love those who are offensive or abusive to followers of other religions. For He says: “Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah (7:108)”.

Explaining the above verse, the Prophet Muhammad pbuh once said: "Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to mankind.' (Sahih Bukhari)"

There are many more such prophetic sayings as well as the Qur'anic verses which are, unfortunately, disregarded in most Muslim societies today.

Today, many Muslim brethren express deep concern over the plight of the Muslim community in public talks, but when it comes to rendering selfless services to the uplift of humanity, they turn out to be far away from the Prophet’s ideals. They enjoy debating big issues like Islam and Science, Islam and politics, Islamic laws, Islam and women rights, Islam and terrorism etc, but when it comes to their daily practical life; they prove to be full of malpractices and devoid of the true Islamic manners. Far away from what the Prophet pbuh taught them:

“The best among you are those who have the best manners and character” (Sahih al-Bukhari)

The hype over why the Muslim community is plagued with educational, scientific, economic and social backwardness perhaps does no help until their moral downfall is assessed and redeemed. Until and unless Muslims are successful on the established moral and ethical grounds of Islam, they cannot imagine any tangible development in other walks of life.
