This site is dedicated to the fans and followers of Derrick and the Thunderbirds who provided hours of memorable music for the 21 odd years at The Carriage Bar, York Hotel in Singapore and during those early years of the Band. If you have a moment to share your pleasant memories of those years of listening or watching their performances, you are certaintly welcome to post a comment. There were patrons some of whom, like Dr M, Mr Maserati, Sammy Velloo, Molly, Karen, Timbo, Andrew, the Freedom Sisters, Dr BKN, Steven, Roland, Sandy, spent time in the bar, where the atmosphere was friendly and everyone who chose to be there was amiable. "My Lonely Heart" and the song that I thought was equally as popular, "You Were Made For Me To Love" were favourites among the regulars.
