Bhajana Guru Tilaka

Bhajana Guru Tilaka was created to teach devotional music by Sri M.S. Giridhar, specializing in Bhajans and Dasara Pada. The channel has now evolved to promote Namasmarana, the chanting of the Lord's name.

Sri M.S. Giridhar's teaching style uses Swara-Aksharas, an Indian notation system, making it easier for students to learn. He has served as music director for TV channels like Udaya, Suvarna, and Shankara TV, and has contributed to serials like "Seethe" and "Mahabharata." Chosen as an All India Radio music director in 1985, he became a Graded Singer in 1986. He released two Books of Bhajans titled "Saswara Namasmarana."

Giridhar directed music for the 71st Vishwa Kannada Sammelana at Mudabidri and is the chief Music composer for ALVAS NUDISIRI. His recognition includes "GANAKALARATNA" from Bishop Mangalore and "BHAJANAKARA" from Udupi Pejawara Swami.

Through Bhajana Guru Tilaka, he continues to spread the spiritual practice of Namasmarana and the beauty of devotional music.
