N. M. Wadia Institute of Cardiology is a Cardiac Super Specialty Hospital accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH). Having grown from a 7-bedded Cardiac Unit setup in 1973 to a 58-bedded 30,000 sq. ft. Cardiac hospital, N. M. Wadia is equipped with two dedicated Cardiac Operation Theatres along with the latest Digital Cardiac Catheterization lab and other state of the art diagnostic equipments. Each year we treat around 15,000 patients; total out-patients treated are around 12,000. Total Cardiac Cath procedures performed are over 1000 per annum, which include Angiography, Angioplasty(PTCA), permanent pacemakers and implants.
