Gracie Productions was founded in 2004 with the goal of breaking artists in markets that are traditionally ingored by larger labels. In 2004 the label released Sally Anthony's "Vent" album. Relying on a strong grassroots network, the album sold over 100,000 copies worldwide and led to tour dates with the Barenaked Ladies, Tom Petty, James Taylor, Ray J and many others. In 2006 Gracie Productions signed a major distribution deal with Caroline/EMI.
