COMA aka Chinatown Organization for Media Awakening
Chinatown Organization for Media Awakening aka COMA promotes positive imagery of New York City Chinatowns. Build bridges with mainstream media production companies and governmental agencies. Act as an advocate and conduit between media and local Chinese communities. Create, produce and develop mentorship programs with major media companies to ensure Chinatown's history and culture are represented in an accurate and positive light. Seek funding to develop and create programming that accurately portrays contributions of Chinese Americans in the American narrative. (COMA is non-profit 501c3 orgnanization.)
