Lorenz Rhode’s style - funk with a love for chord progressions - runs through all things he’s working on: EP’s on Compost (talkbox classic ‚Back‘), Exploited (Mixmag single of the month) and Dirt Crew (Traxsource #1); Co-writing the Dam Swindle album ‚High Life‘, frequently collaborating with Purple Disco Machine („At The Disko“, „Groovejet“ rmx for Defected). He toured the world solo and with DS, Jamie Lidell or PDM, opening for Jamiroquai with the latter.
Since 2016 he’s been leading 15-piece orchestra RTO Ehrenfeld on German TV late night ‚ZDF Magazin Royale‘, playing to 2m viewers weekly. Arrangements for & performed with Lizzo, Stromae, Woodkid, Sigrid, ...
Lorenz did sound design for legendary synth maker Sequential, and his quirky talkbox styles racked up millions of views on his Daft Punk cover or „How to Talkbox“ edutational.
With Lars Dales he forms Sound Support: EP’s on Internasjonal, House of Disco, Let’s Play House, Permanent Vacation, Aus Music and Toy Tonics.
