My name is Derek, an NYC-based real estate developer and proptech startup advisor. Since purchasing my first property 12 years ago, I have worked on a variety of institutional sized deals and led over $60MM syndicated real estate developments, all of which have utilized proptech.
This channel aims to demystify the real estate landscape (pun intended) for real estate stakeholders, proptech founders, and investors. There's a massive chasm between tech and real estate, and by filling some of those knowledge gaps between the two parties, I can hopefully speed up the adoption of technology even just a little bit.
