If you were looking for a flip phone, which would buy?

I would prefer a fold rather than a flip. I have pockets and have not struggled with phone sizes so far.

Typing on the Flip 5 now. It's good and fast. It also has some UI bugs but nothing a simple restart every so often doesn't fix. No major problems yet. I don't love the big screen not being glass but it's the trade-off for folding. I've used the folding for videos, video calls, angling the flashlight, and the front screen is pretty capable with the extra widget app. One major downside is the lack of good cases. None really cover the hinge well, are too bulky, or recommend a bunch of adhesive. I'm tempted to try out the Dbrand case but $50+ is a lot

If Samsung's screen protector (which they make you have on and pay for) wouldn't peel off after every 5 months, then Flip. Until they fix that - none.

Buying Motorola with its sub par camera and horrible software updates makes no sense regardless of the phone type. They gotta fix it, the competition is strong

Samsung is better than Moto at software optimization, build quality and camera quality. But the awful screen of them is terrible and does not last long for many customers

Flips crap, folds sh*t. Buy a normal phone for the next 5 years
