Scotty Kilmer

Thinking about trying a new segment for the outside videos. Finding cheap cars that need work, fixing them, then giving them away to the audience. Let me know what you think below!

Another great way to give back to those in need. Showing how to fix and helping someone with their own transportation.

You've got a big heart Scotty. It will definitely help someone out in need. I'm grateful for the work and effort you put into your video's. Your tips and advice have helped me more than once in keeping my 94 Ford Explorer XLT I bought new running. It won't be long before I've put 500K miles on the original engine and transmission. They don't make em like this one anymore. Other than the usual maintenance, I've replaced the starter, alternator and a radiator and that's it. My brothers kid me a lot about it. When someone ask why I don't by something newer one of them laughs and says I'll be buried in it. I say as long as it runs, who needs a car payment. Thanks again for all your advice and hard work.

It sounds like a fun series. Just don’t overwhelm yourself.

Love that idea Scotty! And like so many other folks, I LOVE your channel. You've helped me (via your channel) maintain my 2014 Toyota Prius which now has 200,300 plus miles on it. Thank you for all you do!

Who wouldn’t want a car repaired by the best mechanic with over 40 years experience, gifted to them ! It’s a great idea Scotty, and way to give back.

@KristineOdom-tl2mw

YOU ARE AWSOME. One of the few HONEST MECHANICS. We live in the country & have to take our trash off, 1 year ago our house burnt, no insurance &my truck burnt up because of some stupid thing. You go Scotty

@PoorWays

Wow! You have a heart of gold to help those struggling in our country! That's fantastic Scotty!

@MavisRecon

Awesome idea Scotty! I say give them to people who need them most like poor yet responsible high school kids, or maybe some wounded veterans (I'm a combat vet). You could do essay competitions, maybe? I'd do the same if I was as good as you at fixing cars, but the first mechanic I ever visited in my life totally screwed me, twice, and then I totaled the car the next day (my fault). The silver lining was that I bought my first brand new Tacoma after that (in 2006, age 20) and I've never had a vehicular hiccup since, so there's been zero at-home chances to learn advanced mechanics as a result. And I bought that Tacoma simply because I never wanted to see another mechanic for as long as I lived, mission accomplished! Now you're the only mechanic I "deal with" 😅

Great idea! I’m mostly interested in watching the repair videos. Will be really cool to watch the reactions of the recipients as well! Always enjoy your tips and sharing of knowledge
