Dream Theater

We are devastated to hear the news of the passing of former Dream Theater singer, Charlie Dominici. Charlie was the voice of DT on our debut album, 'When Dream And Day Unite’, recorded back in 1988. Beyond being a great singer, he was an incredibly talented songwriter, a well-rounded musician on both guitar and keyboards, and a long-time friend even after his departure from the band. Charlie’s unexpected passing is a tremendous loss to everyone in the Dream Theater family, and we wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the Dominici family during this immensely difficult time.

RIP Charlie. I'm a newer Dream Theater fan and I've loved everything I've ever heard from this band, especially WDADU.

I was only a couple of days ago listening to A Fortune in Lies and wondering what he was up to. Great musician! And an extremely underrated album. RIP and thanks for the great memories of Dream and Day <3

RIP Charlie. I was such a fan of his solo albums too. I highly recommend any DT fan. O3 a Trilogy. It starts calm and peaceful and ends up as metal. Sad news, he'll be missed.

My dad loves DT. ❤️ His passing was very hard for me. I've listened a lot more and dreamed of my dad's old days of drumming to DT in the garage. RIP CHARLIE!! 🙏 Your hard work and dedication will live on! Prayers of peace and comfort for your family and band members 🙏 ❤️

This is a sad day indeed. R.I.P Charlie Dominici, you helped lay the foundation of DT with your voice and the majesty symbol itself will forever be enshrined with the band and your essence. God speed

Como fan de Dream Theater, estuve investigando –casualmente– sobre Dominici, y me pareció importante el aporte que en su momento él le dió a la banda. Que en Paz descanse.
