Pinkman is rough around the edges, DIY, defiant, and proud. Pinkman is the enfant terrible with the broken heart dancing with his head held high. The label is for dreamers growing up in postmodern cybernetic dystopias, heading out for the night in industrial wastelands, finding connection in the bass of an underground basement dripping with sweat. Head-strong, raw, and moody, its electronic sound wants to make you dance with your head held high.
Firmly based in Rotterdam, Pinkman reflects the spirit of the city as much as it has molded its sound. Pinkman is nostalgic without being stuck in the past. Instead, it searches for real music in a new generation, raw, odd, but dance-floor oriented sounds, experimenting with the sonic limits of hedonism and dystopia.
