Personal update: We just finished the funeral and burial services for my mom. It's been hard, and every day I can't believe she is gone. Today at the burial, there was a certain finality to it. I miss her so much, but I know she is with me always. There is a quote from Harry Potter that has always touched my heart, now more than ever: "The ones who love us never really leave us, you can always find them in here."
Something incredible that happened in the weeks following her passing:
The morning after she had passed, we saw a robin nest in the tree outside my parents' window (we had never seen it till then).
A few days later I started making a tribute video for her and was sent 17 folders of photos. I chose one at random and happened upon a photo she took back in 2007 of an American Robin (pictured last).
The baby robins left the nest the night before her funeral, and over the past week, one of those baby robins has been just outside my window every day, where I could see them perfectly. This morning (the day of her burial) that baby robin woke me up.
All of these "coincidences" can't be coincidences. I believe it is a message from God that she has found peace. The nest and the robins have given me and my family a lot of comfort in these difficult times.
She is at eternal peace now. I'm certain of that. I love you, Mom.

Hi all, I wanted to let you know that I will be back posting videos again soon...After three weeks in the hospital, my mother has passed away. As some of you may know, she suffered from a rare neurological disorder called PSP. She is in Heaven now, watching over me and my family. She was beautiful and kind, loving and faithful - she was the strongest woman I knew. I will miss her, but I know this is not goodbye forever, just for now. Thank you all for your understanding throughout this difficult time. 💕
