I'm working on some super big videos at the moment which require a bit more love to get perfect and I really don't want to rush them. This is the issue with weekly videos, but every time I try to create a "quick" video to allow myself to catch up... they end up taking much longer to make them even better! haha. I literally whipped up my recent video on the walmart... in the parking lot while visiting the site. (It did help I was very clued in to the topic being from the area) but yeah.

This month will be my 10 year anniversary of uploading a video every Sunday. I've also uploaded extra videos some weeks, but I always had a video out for Sunday. Is there any in particular that stood out to you? I'm working on a nostalgic video atm

There's been quite a large uptick in the last couple months of people stealing my content. Channels will pretty much play my video in full while breathing in the corner and sometimes pausing to say "yeah" and repeat my points with questions for engagement. That's not transformative. That's not fair use. And honestly, I just really don't like it tbh. I can spend a month or so researching, scripting, filming, and editing a video only to have a random "react" channel spend 10 minutes watching it while nodding and reupload it without even giving me any credit.

So just a polite PSA, if you ever come across one of these videos in the wild, if you wouldn't mind, would you at least let it be known I don't want that? Or at least link my channel for me? YouTube haven't yet given me the copyright management tools to be able to manage this other than requesting the removal of the video which... feels extreme? I don't wanna cause upset. I just don't like my content being reuploaded without my consent which I feel like is a fair boundary to have right? It would be different if the video was transformative, critiquing, didn't show my video in FULL, or anything else actually constituting fair use, but it almost never is. Anyway, thanks for listening.
