Hey friends!! I wanted to give y'all an update since this week took a turn for the worst in Texas (and surrounding areas) due to crazy low temperatures, snow/ice & the power grid company being *incredibly* unprepared and negligent. 
If you don't follow me on Instagram, we've been without power since Monday. A pipe burst in our house due to the low temperatures and almost flooded our kitchen. Regardless of that, we are SO lucky compared to most. People are dying, freezing, without water/food. If you are compelled to help Texans, here are a few resources- www.instagram.com/p/CLYFitoAGfp/

Hey guys. I apologize for my absence and silence this week. Although I should’ve definitely said something sooner and I don’t want to give any excuses, I’ve been dealing with some health issues with my family members. My brother tested negative for COVID-19 after being sick all week and we still don’t know what is going on with my grandma. My intention was to make a whole video, but I just don’t have the time right now and I don’t want to wait any longer.

To my black followers, I am sorry. I have always considered myself an ally and someone who respects everyone regardless of their skin color or nationality. To be clear, this is NOT about me, but I want to use my platform to show my support. BLACK LIVES MATTER!!! This isn’t a political issue, this is about HUMAN RIGHTS. If you don’t agree with this, kindly unfollow me. This is not new, this has been going on for way too long. I’m glad George Floyd’s killers have been arrested, but there’s so much work to be done. So many innocent lives taken by police brutality and systematic racism. The system has failed black people for WAY too long. Enough is enough. I stand with you, I’ve signed all the petitions, I’ve donated and I’ve talked to my family members & friends about how important this is and I witnessed the most peaceful march in Houston and saw the pain and suffering and need for change.
I am not perfect and I want to continue to educate myself and do better. Tell me how I can do better! Posting on social media is NOT enough. We have to change in our day to day lives. Call out racism, educate those who refuse to see it, use your privilege to help those who are discriminated against. We can ALL do better. You matter to me, your life matters to me. Please if I can do anything for you or someone you know message me!
