Infertility TV

We recently published a study which showed that #COVIDvaccines
1) Do not interfere with #embryo implantation
2) Do not increase the risk for #miscarriage
In that study, we used #IVF #frozenembryotransfer as a model to study the impact of #covid vaccines on #fertility
******
We have been getting a few questions
Q1. Do we have any data about #COVIDVaccination in women not doing #fertilitytreatment?
Q2. Do you have to wait some period of time after receiving a #vaccine before you can attempt pregnancy
********
Answer: We have seen a number of women become #pregnant naturally, with viable, healthy pregnancies, shortly after receiving #vaccination. The patient below is a nice example since she received both doses of the #Pfizer vaccine in the same cycle as she #conceived.
#Conception occurred less than 5 days after the 2nd vaccination. Covid antibodies were detected by blood test before #conception and #implantation
*******
Bottom line:
1) Covid vaccines do not cause infertility
2) Pregnancy can be attempted immediately after vaccination. No delay is necessary

Many of you have been asking about our Covid vaccination and infertility study (which is ongoing). Here are the answers to some common questions
1) As of today (May 27th) there is still no difference seen in the pregnancy rates between vaccination and unvaccinated women (click to see entire graph)
2) Although if appears as though women who were previously infected with Covid have a slightly lower pregnancy rate, statistical analysis shows there is still no difference
3) Vaccination was mostly with Moderna and Pfizer but a few (< 5) had Johnson and Johnson
4) I do not work for any pharmaceutical company
5) The study is not funded by any pharmaceutical company
6) Races of women in our study included White, Black, Hispanic and Asian
7) The study has been published in a peer reviewed, open access journal www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2666334…
