And according to Physicists from a YouTube video he has an astounding 86% prediction accuracy.
But what he sees for our future is unsettling, but also exciting at the same time.
Who is he? Why is he important? And what did he see for our future?
This man’s name is Raymond Kurzweil. He is an American computer scientist, author, entrepreneur, futurist, and inventor. He is considered a pioneer in many fields: OCR, TTS Synthesis, speech recognition technology, and others. He’s also known for his books about the future and AI.
With his experience on projects and observing many others, he’s has seen a much deeper side of AI than any of us. That means much more intelligent systems than ChatGPT 4 and your ElevenLabs AI Voices. Ones that aren’t even been disclosed to the public....
So, with that and the time he spent grappling with these ideas in his books, he made predictions.
Here are just some of the things he has predicted for our future:
> Hypothesized by 2030 humans discovered how to achieve immortality, not just slowing down aging, but reversing it
> A.I. will be “better than all humans” in “every skill possessed by any human.”
> After 2029, humans will begin to merge with machines
> Dead people will come back first as simulations - then as ‘printed’ living bodies
> “By 2029, AI is probably smarter than all humans combined.”

Back in March 2022 at FFG we got tasked (under blind conditions) to look at a potential future cyber-attack. Edward's session had effects of a cyber-attack and the time frame of April 2024. He was off a few months. Has that session hit its timeline? Would you call this a hit?
