I've been keeping all the comic scans that I've blanked out the word bubbles of over the past ten years, totaling in at over 15,000 pages which tales up about 44 gigs.
People always ask why I do it and the answer's simple, copyright. That said, Marvel, DC, and indie companies are a lot less strict about word balloons these days, but it's still something I do just in case they change their mind, but more importantly, I think it's a fun stylistic decision that helps viewers get less distracted by all the text and focus on the video.
But more importantly, my videos are never meant to be a replacement for reading comics yourself. There's so many great stories that hit so much different when you read them and I hope that my content has encouraged you to check out this awesome hobby. 😊

I've known Benny since he had about 20,000 subscribers and have been amazed to see him become the largest comic book channel on YouTube. Admittedly, we've grown apart immensely over the years, but I've always had respect for how he spread his intense love of this medium to millions and encouraged so many people to pick up their first comic.
Benny had the most energy out of any content creator I have ever met and he absolutely worked his ass off every single day on his content. Not to mention that he served his country well as a member of the army.
