Mr and Mrs Adventure
We are Brittany and Drew, husband and wife, who have been traveling the world by van for 8 years and counting! It all started with an idea to teach English in Asia, when we were offered an unused camper to explore our own country 1st! After that 1st year (2015), we got married, flew to England and bought our very own rolling home for a 2.5 year van life honeymoon across Europe and N. Africa. Then, in 2018 we returned to the USA and self converted Spirit, our beloved and handcrafted Sprinter Van. For over 3 years, we searched hi and low for just the right project, international lifestyle and unique property to call home. We made the biggest purchase of our lives and have now shifted all the of the energy we poured into our travels into transforming the home of our dreams. 💪
Global vanlifers now currently parked full time on raw land and renovating a historic watermill ruin (called the Magic Mill) into our #dreamhome in Southern Portugal 🇵🇹💫!

Incase you missed THE BEST NEWS shared in our last episode, Minou (the mama cat who was missing for 17 days) returned to us and reunited with her 2 year old kittens, Baby and Tom, making us all the happiest family of 5 ❤️ Made a Short to celebrate them: tinyurl.com/2jk96dyt
The story of our kitties: Our friends found Minou, our tiny mama cat (front right in the photo below) + her kittens, Baby (the Bengal) and Tom (the Ginger), in their garden during 2020. Minou had been badly injured when they found her, which is why she is blind in her left eye. Now, fast forward 2 years later, to 2023. Due to cancer, our friends had to move to the city to be closer to their doctor. Unable to bring the kitties to their new apartment, and with the buyers of their property being unwilling to keep the cats, that’s when we swooped in. Though reluctant because of the loss of freedom this may cause, we sensed an overwhelming call to purpose and decided it was the right time for us to adopt this special little family ❤️…
And even though all 3 cats escaped in less than 10 minutes from the temporary holding catio we built them to help with the transition to their new home, ultimately Baby and Tom stuck around, and finally, after 17 days, Minou decided we were worthy of her unimaginable cuteness and love.
And that’s the story of how we became the happiest furry baby parents in all the land 😽😽😽
