I don't normally make posts like these, but I figured I'd make an exception.
I want to talk about positivity/negativity during streams.
Last Tuesday I had one of the most supportive streams I've ever had, lots of donations, supporting messages, all seemingly coming out of nowhere. Then yesterday, we had a stream that was so salty I literally had to ask mods to time out certain people in chat, which is something I almost never do.
I don't know many people who do interactive streams, but I've always enjoyed them. The joy of making my audience's characters come to life in the form of gladiators and other submissions have always given me a tremendous amount of joy.
But there's no denying it, these streams bring out the worst in people.
Normally I think I have one of the most amazing audiences on this platform, but man, during the last Gladiator Arena stream and the CMU, it was sometimes difficult to go online knowing the amount of salt I'd have to deal with.
I don't usually care what other people say, but if there's one thing that does get under my skin, it's when I put hours of work into something along with my team, only to get met by complaints when I go live. Even after years of doing YouTube, it still stings.
I understand the frustration. Some of you have been diligently watching this channel for years, yet have never gotten one of your characters picked. That's annoying, I get it. I wish I had spots for everyone. By their very nature, they are limited.
Yesterday during the Gladiator Arena, we saw a team completely sweep their opposition because they discovered a near unbeatable combo. Everyone is now leaving comments telling me how Sleep staves are broken and should NEVER have been allowed, but the thing is, they haven haven't been dominating the arena until the 7th round. So the question is, what should I do? Nerf sleep staves and ruin this team completely because people didn't like how they won?
I understand that it's also not a majority of my audience being salty. It's probably like 5-10% of them, but a small minority can impact the stream a lot when the salt-levels gets high enough.
I'm going to be honest with you, when people ask me what the next gladiator arena & CMU is going to be, my immediate thoughts are that I don't really want to do them anymore. I'm wondering if maybe it's time to move away from this interactive content since it's causing certain members of my audience to become so agitated.
But I know that's not what most people want. I know that interactive streams is why some of you subscribed.
So all I'm saying with this post is, try to be a little mindful of your behavior during such streams. If you genuinely want to give feedback, why don't you send me a mail at mangsmemes@gmail.com titled "feedback", and instead of talking about how mad you are for the CMU/arena not being a certain way, try to give some constructive tips on how to improve it next time around.
A lot of people, myself included, work really hard to make these streams happen. I don't really need to be doing them. I can just do Ironmans and other forms of easy content, but I know that some of you would really miss these streams if they were to go away, so please, try to keep this in mind.

We are talking co-hosts, stat-screens, unit reviews, the whole nine yards.
If I theoretically decided to do this, which of these games would you be most interested in?
Still feeling a bit overwhelmed after tonight's stream. Not sure where all the positive supports and love came from, but it left me a bit flabbergasted, and I don't think I was completely able to vocalize it in the moment. Thank you to all my amazing viewers, I am truly blessed.

Axxomm is a good friend of mine. He's an awesome dude who puts a lot of effort into his videos. He's trying to hit 2k subs, and it would be really cool if this video would push him over that milestone.
