My next a cappella arrangement is complete! I will be recording “And Can It Be That I Should Gain” by Charles Wesley (no relation) and Thomas Campbell. Recording may be a bit delayed. I’ll need to pay for repairs to my car after the incident with the porcupine, so that means extea shifts at the hospital to cover the cost. I hope it’ll be worth the wait.

Getting some paddling done during our unexpected working vacation at Elim Lodge. Play by day, lead worship by night. Little Auren got to freeload on this trip around Jacob island, and even fell asleep during the last half of the trip. Back to work tomorrow!

After a pretty last-minute request, I find myself serving as the guest worship leader at Elim Lodge in Lakehurst, Ontario. My boys get to enjoy the programming for kids and my wife gets a week off worrying about feeding them and buying the groceries.
I apparently delivered quite the shock to a young lady from Uganda who is serving on the kitchen staff this summer. Her Canadian co-workers had no idea who I was, but she’s a David Wesley fan. These moments always make me smile. :)
