Ric Hassani
Ric Hassani is a Nigerian born Pop-African singer and songwriter. In 2012, Ric released his first single called 'Dance Dance Baby Dance'. He then released a follow-up single titled 'Double Double'.
In September 2015, he became the first Nigerian Artist to headline the Lake of Stars Festival in Lilongwe Malawi, along-side Uhuru and Toya Delazy. He released his first Album Compilation called; African Tour Select Singles 2015. The following month, he released an EP, a five track compilation of acoustic versions of his pre-recorded music including fan favourites like Joy, Stay and Depression.
In December 2015, he released another hit single titled 'Gentleman', which is the first single of his Debut Album 'The African Gentleman. July 2017, The African Gentleman Album was released and "Only You", which is the most successful song on the album has been streamed 42Million times on all platforms.
Ric Hassani is influenced by musicians such as Sam Smith, Craig David and favorite band Boyz II

Hey guys! I have a Boy Band!
The name of the Boy band is “DBYZ”. I put “DBYZ” together and it’s of Singers who actually were first my backup singers; Yudee, Préyè, Rotimi and singer/guitarist Tedy Keny. I got the name “DBYZ” from “The Boys” actually.
I would go for shows with them as my backup singers. They were so good that any other gig I'd go for, once people spot me the next question they ask is “Where are the boys?”. People will refer to them as “The Boys”! So I thought, "Hmmm" : The Boys, D Boys, D BOYZ, D BYZ, DBYZ" !
I met these amazing guys through series of auditions that I had held when I was in search for background singers to go with me for my gigs back in 2017. These guys have been with me from then on to this time and I decided to give them more by making them into a band and giving you guys even more amazing music through them!
I actually met Yudee, Préyè and Rotimi in those auditions I’d held, while I met Tedy Keny in the studio where I recorded my first album, “The African Gentleman”. These guys have grown to be my brothers today and I am so excited for their growth and can’t wait for you guys to feel and experience their amazing sound that we have all together come up with.
“DBYZ” as a band, premiered their debut single DO LIKE SAY featuring me in November 2019. It has amassed over a million streams on all platforms. They went ahead to release their second single INCREDIBLE WOMAN. You can check both these songs out on all digital platforms and on YouTube as well.
They are set to put out their debut project, An EP “NO RULES” which is set to premier on OCTOBER 8TH 2021. You have to set the date guys. “NO RULES” has been created to show who the band is, and what they can do. As the name implies, there are NO RULES to their music, sound, idea, and it is evident in this 4 track EP. Guys, the songs are so good!!!
I am very happy to have you guys experience these guys. They are such incredible singers and great guys. The Ep is out in about 20 days and everyday till then, there is a countdown hashtag, like “#FewdaystoNORULES”. Join the countdown hashtag to NO RULES!
