My new song, Chasing Spirits is out today!🌜It opens with a question: are my love songs lies now that the love is gone? When I wrote this song, I was reflecting on all the songs I’d written before and how they live forever, long after the moment passes. I can write something so personal and specific for me, a sentiment frozen in time, and then it is released to have a life of its own, holding new layers of meaning for anyone who hears it.

With this in mind, the title holds a double meaning. Chasing Spirits can be a way of trying to connect with supernatural entities or one’s own higher self, and also, you order spirits at the bar or pick them up at the liquor store, maybe with a chaser.

So for the video, we threw a party in my sweetheart @walker_samuel ‘s bus in Marfa with some of our closest friends and family in West Texas. 🦂
